Biography

Ms. Banton is Of counsel at The Flowers Counsel Group, where she focuses on corporate procurement and corporate transactions for key academic centers and corporations. Ms. Banton has extensive experience as a regulatory attorney specializing in pharmaceutical research and development, and pharmaceutical drug marketing. Ms. Banton has expertise in negotiating, drafting and reviewing major agreements and procurement contracts.

Ms. Banton started her legal career in the Litigation Group of Saul, Ewing, Remick & Saul in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later joined the corporate legal departments of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, LP and Merck & Co., Inc. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Banton supervised the audits of major financial institutions as a certified public accountant at Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in New York, NY.
