FCG Represents DuPont in Sale of Catalyst Chemical Unit to Dorf Ketal
Wilmington, Del. - The Flowers Counsel Group, LLC served as lead counsel to DuPont Co. in its recent sale of its specialty chemical unit to Dorf Ketal Chemicals (Dorf Ketal), India's largest refinery of chemicals. The products transferred by DuPont under the transaction are sold under the brand names Tyzor and Avitex. Terms of the deal remain private.
Dorf Ketal sells process chemicals and additives for refineries, petrochemicals, fuels, plastics, lubricants and oilfield industries and has annual revenues of about $220 million.
The transaction closed on December 31, 2009.
